Lobbyists, former lawmakers and agency executives have joined forces to provide a wide range of government affairs and public relations services to their clients through a newly launched lobby firm called the Texas Legislative Associates (TLA).
The firm’s principals include well-regarded lobbyist Brad Shields, former State Representative and Public Education Chairman Kent Grusendorf, former State Representative Bill Keffer, longtime legislative staffer and lobbyist Brad T. Shields II, and association lobbyist and political consultant Stephanie Gibson. The group has also teamed with Noble Strategic Partners, an Austin-based full-service public relations firm to offer public relations and communications services. The combined talent and experience makes the TLA one of the premier independent lobby firms in Texas.
For more than 20 years, Stephanie Gibson has been involved in the legislative process in one facet or another. She has significant political experience, having consulted, managed, and fundraised for legislative and statewide campaigns. Since 2003, Gibson has been a consultant for numerous clients facilitating their needs through the legislative process. Most recently she served as Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Texas Retailers Association.
